It’s been a long time since I visited the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. They’re a must-visit in the Ann Arbor area—three conservatories, a large bonsai collection, tended gardens, walking paths and more, all for just a minimal parking fee.
The gardens have plenty of color and visual interest for visible-light photography, but I wanted to see what they would look like in infrared. I used Kolari Vision’s IR Chrome Lite in the conservatories and K665 IR outside. I decided to stick with video; the following are stills from the finished result.
